Hati-hati, Scammer dimana-mana

Hmm, lama ga jumpa nih sobat. Gimana kabar sobat-sobat sekalian. Semaoga sehat selalu. Aamiin. di kesempatan kali ini, saya ingin membahas tentang ‘Scammer’. Pernah denger ga sobat, sebenarnya ini sedikit berkaitan dengan pengalaman saya beberapa hari yang lalu sih. Saat tiba-tiba menerima email yang ga jelas dari seorang wanita yang mengaku bernama Mrs. Mona Saeedi dengan alamat email lowpat4@century.net yang berbunyi : 

karena awalnya aku mengira kalo itu adalah seorang dosen, jadi aku reply email tersebut,

“ I don’t understand. What do you mean Mrs? “

Kemudian di hari yang sama, orang tersebut mengirim email lagi. Namun kali ini dengan alamat email yang berbeda yaitu mrsmonasafadi@safadi-saeedi.com . Aku mulai curiga saat itu, dan anehnya lagi ia emailku ada sebagai bcc, dan dikirim melalui lakeheadu.ca yang merupakan email bagi user di Lakehead University

I am Mrs. Mona Saaeedi, married to Late Engr Mr. Nasser Safadi Saeedi {PhD} who worked with MULTINATIONAL OIL COMPANY EXXON AS A DRILLING RIG SUPPLIER in UAE (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company) for 17 years he died on 31st July 2001 on a plane crash with other passengers, We were married for twenty four years without a child. I am a religions women and take delight only in the things of Allah and I have prayed a lot on this already and I believe so much in the manifestation of Allah that I know he will not fail me and I want you to know that you have to be strong in your faith as he {Allah} will surely strengthen you. My husband’s relatives will misuse this fund because they have sold my entire late husband’s wealth and property left behind. they have sold virtually all we have in Australia, Malaysia and United Kingdom, As I am here in the hospital they are around me they wait to hear that I am dead so that they lay their hands on my last belongings here on earth, But that does not bother me because things of the earth are canal, I do not want them to know about this deposit that is why I am communicating with you only on email and I am making communication with the finance firm also who understands my predicament.

All I need is your absolute trust, commitment, confidentiality and honesty because I want to see my late husband’s vision fulfilled before I leave this sinful world. My spirit directed me to you as I prayed and searched over the internet for someone to help me since I can no longer trust my family members and friends around me and I do not want this particular deposit to be used (ungodly) for things of the world. Aku sering membaca buku bahwa sering terjadi penipuan-penipuan yang menggunakan media internet. Setelah membaca beberapa kejanggalan diatas aku sudah menduga bahwa itu mungkin adalah salah satu email penipuan. Dari isi email tersebut misalnya, aku merasa heran dengan orang tersebut. Bayangkan saja, ia sama sekali sudah tidak percaya kepada saudaranya sendiri, namun percaya kepada orang yang bahkan belum pernah ditemuinya. Tidak menutup kemungkinan kan? Misalnya email tersebut bukan dikirimkan kepadaku, kepada orang yang salah mungkin. Namun aku tetap membalas email tersebut. Tujuanku untuk mengklarifikasi dan mengetahui identitas orang aneh tersebut. Meskipun aku sudah yakin kalau itu adalah email penipuan. Aku hanya ingin mengetahui sampai mana kemampuan orang ini membodohi orang lain. Maka dari itu aku memancingnya dengan pura-pura benar-benar menanggapi email tersebut dan membalas :

“I am sorry to hear that Mrs.

but I have any question to you, what makes you believe that I am an honest person? while you are not trust your family members, why would you trust the other person? 

Dan keesokan harinya ia kembali membalas emailku,kali ini dengan bahasa yang begitu sopan. kalau orang yang ga mengetahui mungkin akan mudah saja tertipu, pake bawa-bawa nama Allah segala lengkap + foto samarannya :

Allah bless you and i thank you so much for your word and trust, commitment and assurance towards the use of this fund to help the less privileged which has been my dream as along with my late husband, I want you to know that Allah definitely has a purpose for this and he will surely guide you through this noble course even when i am not alive but my spirit will be with you, but always pray for me.

I have already issued a letter of authority to the finance firm in Malaysia making you beneficiary to my deposit. I take this decision because my time is short and i want to dispense this fund in the right channel before i leave this sinful world. Allah has led me to you and i want you to know that so far you have heeded to his call he will not let you down.

Aku semakin yakin kalo ini adalah email penipuan karena sudah menyinggung masalah identitas.aku kembali membuka email yang pertama dan melihat dari isi email tersebut yang mengatasnamakan MULTINATIONAL OIL COMPANY EXXON AS A DRILLING RIG SUPPLIER in UAE (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company) sebagai tempat kerja suaminya. Aku langsung mencarinya di search engine dan mendapati bahwa banyak email serupa yang didapat oleh orang lain dan mengatakan bahwa itu adalah email scammer.

Scammer adalah salah satu bentuk penipuan yang menggunakan internet sebagai medianya. Banyak model-model scam yang digunakan para penipu ini misalnya seperti email yang berisi tentang menang lotere, meminjam uang untuk membangun panti asuhan, hingga surat warisan seperti email yang kudapat ini. untuk mengetahui lebih lanjut macam-macamnya bisa baca disini http://www.419scam.org/419scam.htm

Makanya, zaman sekarang itu kita harus banyak berhati-hati, jangan dapat info menang hadiah langsung melonjak kegirangan. Selidiki dulu sumbernya, banyak bertanya kepada orang lain, biar ga rugi entar akhirnya (kalo penipuan). Contohnya scammer ini, mereka mungkin cukup pintar membodohi orang, tapi bukan aku hehe :D.
